Nursing Lab

High-Fidelity Simulators

In 2025, The School of Nursing utilized LINE grant funding to purchase two new, high-fidelity simulators. One of the simulators, named “Super Tory,â€‌ is an infant simulator while another named “Pediatric Halâ€‌ is a pediatric child simulator. Both simulators have sophisticated programming capabilities and can simulate real-life movements and sounds.

These state-of-the-art machines further The School of Nursing’s ability to deliver high quality nursing education through simulation lab experiences and are instrumental in teaching comprehensive physical assessments, essential critical skills, and the early recognition of pediatric patient deterioration. By simulating realistic scenarios, they help students develop critical thinking and decision-making skills, preparing them to deliver safe, effective care in real-world clinical settings. Their introduction represents a significant advancement in nursing curriculum, supporting hands-on learning and critical growth.
