Letter From the Dean
Greetings! The launch of the º£½ÇÔÚÏß School of Nursing newsletter marks an exciting new chapter for our program. This inaugural edition reflects a season of growth, innovation, and faithfulness as we continue to prepare Christ-first leaders in nursing who serve with excellence.
This past year, the School of Nursing celebrated many milestones. We honored the achievements of our BSN graduates at a special Pinning Ceremony, welcomed new full-time faculty members, and expanded our simulation lab with advanced, high-fidelity simulators made possible through generous Linking Industry to Nursing Education (LINE) Grant funding. Throughout this issue, you will also find inspiring contributions from our students and alumni that beautifully capture the heart and mission of º£½ÇÔÚÏß Nursing.
Enrollment reached new heights this fall as we welcomed a record number of nursing students through both direct admission and the Pathway to Nursing program. The Pathway program continues to provide an important opportunity for students whose high school GPA falls just below the 3.5 requirement for direct admission, while still maintaining academic rigor and support. In addition, we launched three new MSN nurse practitioner tracks in Family, Psychiatric-Mental Health, and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, further expanding graduate-level opportunities. More information about these programs is available on the School of Nursing website.
Academic outcomes remain strong. First-time NCLEX pass rates for the West Palm Beach campus were 97.18% in 2024 and 96.2% in 2025, exceeding national first-time pass rate averages for BSN-prepared nurses reported by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
In December 2025, the School of Nursing closed its Orlando campus and began teaching the final cohort of six BSN students through virtual synchronous instruction with in-person clinical and simulation experiences. We are deeply grateful to our Orlando clinical partners, faculty, and staff whose dedication and service helped shape º£½ÇÔÚÏß Nursing during that season.
At the core of all we do is the goal to prepare graduates within a Christ-first environment to serve God boldly through lives of service in the nursing profession. This aim is lived out daily by our faculty and staff, who view their work not simply as a profession, but as a calling. We are thankful for God’s continued provision and guidance as we look toward the future, including plans to relocate the School of Nursing to the former Rinker College of Business building in spring 2027. We look forward to celebrating this transition alongside the 20th anniversary of º£½ÇÔÚÏß Nursing.
It is an honor to lead the º£½ÇÔÚÏß School of Nursing during such a meaningful and fruitful season. Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and ongoing support. I invite you to follow us on Instagram at @pbanursing and visit our newly redesigned website to stay connected. We welcome your feedback on this first newsletter and would love to hear from you.
Blessings,
