New Faculty
During the 2024-2025 academic year, the School of Nursing welcomed two new faculty members to the team.
Dr. Gitana Ng
Dr. Gitana Ng joined º£½ÇÔÚÏß in August 2025 to serve as an Assistant Professor of Nursing and the Associate Dean of the MSN Program. She is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the Association of American Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Nova Southeastern University (NSU).
Before joining º£½ÇÔÚÏß, Dr. Ng worked as the Program Director of the Master of Science in Nursing Programs at NSU. She has over 30 years of extensive experience treating a wide range of patient populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her clinical experiences include acute care, primary care, internal medicine, women’s health, aesthetics, and geriatrics.
Dr. Ng’s primary focus is on health promotion and disease prevention through patient education.
Dr. Kelly Moss
Dr. Kelly Moss joined the nursing faculty team in January 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rollins College before completing an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Florida. She went on to pursue doctoral-level training, obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida.
As a family nurse practitioner, she has developed specialized expertise in interventional cardiology and interventional radiology, managing complex procedural care, perioperative assessment, and longitudinal patient management within highly technical subspecialties. Her professional interests include evidence-based practice, patient-centered procedural care, and optimizing clinical outcomes in interventional settings. Dr. Moss joins the School of Nursing as an Assistant Professor with responsibilities across undergraduate and graduate courses as well as the simulation lab.
