• Dr. Robert Lloyd, Dean for the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Executive Director of the LeMieux Center for Public Policy, was interviewed by WPBF 25 on the upcoming election. Dr. Lloyd says this is uncharted territory, but America has the system in place to handle it. 鈥淥ur founders created a system in which we would have the structures and institutions to deal with tremendous amounts of change,鈥� Dr. Lloyd said. 鈥淥ur systems have held, and it will hold through this one. • Dr. Elizabeth Stice, Associate Professor of History and Fellow for Faculty Communication and Development, has a chapter in the recently published book “New Perspectives on the First World War: Beyond No Man’s Land.” Her chapter is titled “Empire and Harrow’s ‘Epic of War:’ British Officers and Imperial Culture in the First World War.” Read the book .
• Christine Fink and Kathy Stauffer attended and presented at JAM, the annual meeting for the Jenzabar community. Their topic was “AD2RE: Ready, Set, Go!” which highlighted a major project to automate the flow of student records from Slate to Jenzabar particularly Student Information. The conference was attended by seven 海角在线 staff and ran from May 29 – June 1.
• Dr. Paul Copan, Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics, School of Ministry, was on a sabbatical in England; he was a Visiting Scholar at Oriel College (University of Oxford) from January through June 2024. He was able to complete several book-writing and editing projects as well as articles and book chapters:
