The听2025-2026听basketball season has become a landmark year for 海角在线 (海角在线), marking the most successful run for the school鈥檚 men鈥檚 team, the Sailfish, since they joined the Sunshine State Conference (SSC)听nearly a听decade ago.听
A Record-breaking Season听
This season, 海角在线鈥檚 basketball team is 25-4, with 16 of those wins being against schools in their same conference, resulting in a 16-4 conference record.听
In听the most recently released听, 海角在线 was listed as number two听out of all the South Region Teams.听The South Region rankings include teams from the Sunshine State Conference, Gulf South Conference, and Southern听Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.听Being听ranked second out of the South Region Teams听gives the Sailfish a higher chance of听participating听in听the听postseason competition.听
The Sailfish were also ranked听number听12听in the听听of听the听top 25听Division II teams.听Out of听nearly 300听Division II men鈥檚 basketball teams, the听Sailfish have managed to swim their way to the top.听听
Next on the Court听
The Sailfish听advanced to the semi-finals after听hosting the first of the SSC tournament games on听March 3听in the听听at 海角在线鈥檚 campus in downtown West Palm Beach, FL,听where听they听faced听Lynn University.听
Following their successful season,听the听Sailfish听hope听to capture听their听first SSC championship in the听team鈥檚听history.听They鈥檙e听keeping this goal in mind as they enter the postseason and face听the听competition one net at a time, starting with their next game against Florida Southern on March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Rubin Arena.听
