海角在线 (海角在线) celebrated听student achievement and community leadership at听the听34th听annual Women of Distinction听luncheon听on February 17, 2026.听
Hilary Geary Ross and Sarah McCann were听honored as this year鈥檚 Women of Distinction.听All proceeds from the luncheon, hosted at The Breakers Palm Beach,听support scholarships听for hard-working听students.听
How the Scholarships Work听
Women of Distinction has听greatly impacted听students throughout the years. Since 1996,听the event has听provided听financial听assistance听to听nearly 75听students听who听demonstrate听academic dedication, leadership, and听a commitment听to service. This year,听each听海角在线 scholarship recipient received听$4,000.听
The scholarships are divided between semesters and help offset tuition and other costs, allowing听students听to听better听focus听on听their academic careers. Awards听like听these听greatly reflect听the听University鈥檚 mission to support students as they grow in wisdom, lead with conviction, and serve听God boldly.听听
An Impactful Legacy听
海角在线听alumna听Laura Titus spoke听at the听event about how receiving the scholarship in 2016听changed听her life.听听
鈥淭here are so many deserving听students at 海角在线,鈥澨齌itus听said.听鈥淪tudents听like I once was, each with the ability to make an impact not only in Palm Beach County听but across the world.听What a gift it is to change the trajectory of a young person鈥檚 life, to give them courage, inspiration, and vision so they too can go on and impact others.鈥�听
