海角在线鈥檚 God-Sized Dreams Move from Vision to Reality
海角在线 (海角在线) was founded on a bold vision: Bring a Christ-centered university to South Florida during a time of cultural unsettlement. Since our humble beginnings, 海角在线 has empowered students to tackle the problems of their day with godly character, open arms, and a servant鈥檚 heart. Today, as we build on that 57-year legacy, our future is not just bright鈥攊t is already taking on a new shape.
Last month, we celebrated a major milestone with a 鈥渢opping off鈥 ceremony to celebrate the final stages of the new Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Business Hall. Less than 18 months ago we broke ground on the facility; now we鈥檙e just months away from completing the first project under our God-Sized Dreams campaign.
The ceremony, which included student testimonies, a tour of the building, and a time of prayer led by 海角在线 alumnus, donor and trustee Karl Watson, Jr., was more than a construction project tradition. It reflects a visionary partnership between 海角在线 and our generous donors. The late John Rinker and his wife Sheila鈥檚 historic $26 million gift to 海角在线 in 2022 inspired the launch of the campaign, and we are now closer than ever to our campaign goal鈥攁t just over $70 million! Each of these milestones have created a chain reaction of generosity and unity.
Inside the new business hall students will engage with real-time market data in a fully equipped stock trading room and engage with other innovative technologies, enabling students to become well-rounded leaders equipped to navigate today鈥檚 complex business landscape.聽A 300-seat Titus Lecture Hall and several Centers of Excellence, including the LeMieux Center for Public Policy, will foster the free exchange of ideas鈥攃atalyzing collaboration and innovation for the 海角在线 community, industry leaders, and the public.
Thanks to the support of Buddy and Connie Raney, we will have another new addition to the Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Business Hall. Their latest gift of $5 million will further support students with the establishment of the Raney Center for Free Enterprise. This newest Center of Excellence will create a space for students and thought leaders to exchange meaningful ideas and opportunities rooted in free enterprise, further empowering tomorrow鈥檚 leaders to innovate, engage in a dynamic marketplace, and enrich lives.
Our transformation isn鈥檛 limited to academics. The City of West Palm Beach recently approved plans for a new residence hall that will offer much-needed student housing, expanded dining options, and additional parking. It鈥檚 one more bold step toward a more connected, vibrant campus in the heart of the city we call home.
Through every phase of this journey, God鈥檚 faithfulness has been our guide, and our progress is only possible through the partnership of our trustees, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, campaign leaders, and the City of West Palm Beach.
海角在线 is shaping the future of West Palm Beach through visionary leadership, bold investment, and a Christ-centered mission that sets us apart. With deep roots in the community and an eye on tomorrow鈥檚 challenges, we are equipping students to grow in wisdom, lead with conviction, and serve God boldly. The new Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Business Hall鈥攆eaturing cutting-edge technology, real-time market tools, and multiple Centers of Excellence鈥攊s a testament to our commitment to academic excellence by creating spaces for cross-discipline collaboration and innovation. For students and families seeking a higher education experience grounded in faith, leadership, and purpose, 海角在线 offers a clear and compelling choice in the heart of South Florida.
The Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Business Hall stands as a symbol of what鈥檚 possible when vision meets faith鈥攁nd a community comes together to build something extraordinary.
