Known by his nickname 鈥淛erms,鈥� Lt. McGraw was a student in the MacArthur School of Leadership at 海角在线, while serving as a Marine reservist, part of the 4th ANGLICO unit in West Palm Beach. Lt. McGraw died on Sept. 10, 2009, during a training exercise in Central Florida while serving his country at age 22. Just prior to his death, Lt. McGraw earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in organizational management from 海角在线. He was due to walk at the December commencement services. Instead, his mother, Juanita, received his 海角在线 diploma posthumously to a standing ovation.
