Janessa Jansik, a Physician Associate student at º£½ÇÔÚÏß, has been following the development of the university’s PA program for years. As a Florida native, she was excited for the opportunity to apply as soon as she became eligible—and even more honored to be accepted into the inaugural cohort.

Being part of the first class has been both exciting and meaningful. Janessa describes it as a unique opportunity to help shape the legacy of the program while benefiting from its cutting-edge resources. She was especially drawn to the program’s state-of-the-art equipment and the dedication of faculty who are committed to student success.

One of the most impactful aspects of her experience has been the close-knit community. With a cohort of just 56 students, she has formed strong relationships with her peers, creating a supportive environment that feels like a family.

Janessa also highlights the Christ-centered atmosphere at º£½ÇÔÚÏß as something that sets the program apart. From professors praying before class and exams to the encouragement she receives daily, she has grown spiritually alongside her academic development.

Her passion for healthcare is rooted in a desire to serve others. As she looks toward her future as a physician associate, Janessa is excited to build relationships with patients, give back to her community, and use her education to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
