Master of Divinity, Concentration in Intercultural Studies

The Master of Divinity with a Concentration in Intercultural Studies (MDiv, ICS) is designed for students who wish to combine vocational ministry training with theological engagement with pressing missiological questions in light of Scripture and the rich heritage of Christian faith and practice.

Degree Requirements

All students studying for the MDiv, ICS Concentration (75 credit hours) will complete an integrated core (36 credit hours), ministry-training courses (15 credit hours), biblical languages (12 credit hours), and specified Intercultural Studies courses (12 credit hours). Intercultural Studies, M.A.

With the ever-increasing cultural and religious diversity of societies across the globe, Christian leaders today need formation in intercultural approaches to communication, worship, theology, and ministry.

Intercultural Studies: Concentration in Christian Community Development, B.A.

This concentration provides students with the knowledge, skills, and character for understanding theories of Christian Community Development and developing methods of qualitative investigation and strategies for community transformation.
